The IT Department ensures stability, security, and efficiency of KPMG’s environment through:

  • Network Infrastructure Support — maintaining and optimizing network hardware, monitoring performance, implementing security measures.
  • Application & Systems Support — managing and optimizing business-critical applications to streamline operations and support end-users.
  • Data Security & Backup — protecting critical data, preventing cyber threats, and ensuring business continuity.


Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to KPMG employees across CIS.
  • Handle user requests via IT Service Desk, mailbox, or directly.
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support (software, hardware, network issues).
  • Share knowledge and maintain the Knowledge Base up to date.
  • Follow IT Services policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Manage IT assets: distribution, return, logging, cooperation with vendors.
  • Train and coordinate IT Service Desk specialists.
  • Participate in IT projects and support business unit strategy.
  • Consult and advise employees to achieve business goals.
  • Lead small projects and routine operations.
  • Mentor and supervise less experienced colleagues.
  • Support process improvements and study new technologies.
  • Prepare internal documentation, meeting minutes, announcements, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Higher education
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, networking technologies, and mobile platforms.
  • Experience with business applications and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Negotiation skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong time management, multitasking, analytical mindset, attention to detail.
  • Fluent Russian, Kazakh and English.
  • Experience in banks, large tech companies, or Helpdesk/Service Desk.
  • Deep technical knowledge.
