We’re currently seeking a Seinor Manager/Associate Director in Forensic (AML/CFT) to join our Forensic Consulting team in Almaty/Astana. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead complex advisory projects, support clients across Central Asia and the Caucasus, and help organizations prevent and respond to financial crime and regulatory challenges.

Responsibilities

As our Senior Manager/Associate Director, you will:

– Provide expert advisory services in AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance to financial institutions
– Design, review, and enhance compliance programs, risk assessments, and internal controls
– Lead independent assessments, audits, and remediation projects related to AML/CFT legislation
– Conduct due diligence reviews and support clients in regulatory reporting and investigations
– Deliver trainings and workshops to raise awareness of compliance risks and requirements
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple client engagements
– Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development

Requirements

You’re a great fit if you:

– Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field
– Have 8+ years of relevant experience in consulting or the financial services industry
– Possess strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions regulations and international standards
– Are familiar with fraud risk frameworks (e.g., COSO, CFE)
– Hold certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CIA or similar (a plus)
– Have excellent project and stakeholder management skills
– Communicate confidently in English and Russian (written and spoken)
– Lead with integrity and can mentor and inspire teams
– Are open to occasional travel and flexible hours
