Senior Information Security Specialist

KPMG is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist to join the QRM Information Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the protection of the firm’s information assets, supporting security operations, and strengthening the overall security posture in line with global standards and best practices.

• Implement and maintain information security controls, including email security, endpoint protection, EDR, and DLP solutions
• Monitor and manage IT infrastructure security, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation activities
• Support security operations and incident management processes
• Implement and maintain logging and monitoring controls, including SIEM support
• Conduct security testing and vulnerability scanning, ensuring timely remediation of findings
• Automate security processes using scripting languages where applicable
• Coordinate and support security-related projects and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Maintain security metrics and ensure incidents are resolved within defined SLAs

• Higher education in Information Security, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security tools
• Strong understanding of security technologies:
  (Firewalls, SIEM, WAF, Vulnerability Scanners, DLP, IPS/IDS)
• Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
• Familiarity with international security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
• Good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation
