We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Consultant to join our Digital CFO team in Astana. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in FP&A who is eager to lead complex projects, drive insights, and shape the future of financial management.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead complex FP&A projects, including functional transformation, design, and implementation of automation tools.
  • Analyze large datasets and internal documents to extract insights, and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and oversee the quality control of deliverables produced by the engagement team.
  • Supervise junior team members, allocate tasks, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Build rapport with external stakeholders and contribute to business development activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, sharing insights to drive thought leadership.
  • Assist in business development, including participation in tenders and preparation of proposals.

Requirements

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in planning/economic departments, FP&A consulting, or IT integrator companies.
  • Possess experience in designing financial planning and analysis systems and developing related policies and procedures.
  • Understand key trends in FP&A such as agile and integrated planning.
  • Are proficient in developing financial models in MS Excel.
  • Hold Upper-Intermediate or above proficiency in English.
  • Have professional certifications in CIMA, CMA, ACCA, or related IT solutions (e.g., SAP BPC, IBM Cognos).
  • Have experience in project management or participation in FP&A system automation projects.
  • Demonstrate initiative, a positive attitude, and readiness for business travel within Central Asia and the Caucasus region.
