Our experts from the Digital CFO group help companies across various industries transform and enhance the efficiency of their finance functions in the following key areas:

• Finance Function operating model transformation

• Establishment from scratch and development of existing processes in terms of:

- Budgeting, planning and forecasting

- Management reporting

- Investment planning and control

- Treasury management

• Development of methodological and regulatory documents (policies, regulations, methodologies, instructions etc.)

• Support of the business-side during the automation processes (business requirements collections, functional requirements development etc.)

Responsibilities

• Leading project tasks, which may include:

- Conducting diagnostic assessments of current financial function business processes (budgeting, planning and forecasting; management reporting; investment planning and control; treasury management)

- Based on the understanding of “AS IS” processes, proposing optimization and reengineering initiatives; defining “TO BE” processes, including the development of a detailed roadmap

- Developing methodological and regulatory documents for the financial function

- Preparing documentation required for successful automation of financial function business processes (business requirements, functional requirements, etc.)

- Designing Excel-based tools for use by financial function specialists (financial models, budgeting models, consolidation models, portfolio optimizers, liquidity planners, etc.)

• Leading business development activities, which may include:

- Conducting research, surveys, and industry studies

- Preparing materials for proposals, contracts, and related client documents

- Organizing business-led events (business breakfasts, presentations, workshops, etc.)

• Leading tasks related to internal risk procedures.

• Project management within allocated limits: Collaborate with team members to manage tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in preferred fields such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Math (other degrees acceptable with a minor in these areas).

• Expertise and proven track record in budgeting, planning and forecasting; management reporting; investment planning and control; treasury management (experience in leadership roles is an advantage).

• Deep understanding of accounting and financial reporting (IFRS).

• Solid knowledge of financial modeling.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher for working with project documentation (knowledge of Azerbaijani / Turkish / Russian is an advantage).

• Professional certifications such as ACCA, DipIFR, CIMA, ACT, CTP, CFA, FMVA, or CFMP are an advantage.

• Familiarity with financial modules of ERP / CPM systems (SAP BI, BW, BPC, 1C) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multitasking.

• Availability for business trips
