KPMG is a global network of independent member firms offering audit, tax and advisory services. We are looking for a consultant with an expertise in implementation and management of Security Operations Center.

Responsibilities

—   Perform security / gap analysis reviews in line with leading industry standards;

—   Assist in the development of long-term security strategies aligned with business objectives;

—   Provide an in-depth review of an organization’s ability to protect its information assets and its preparedness against cyber threats;

—   Experience in a variety of cyber security assessments including regulatory reviews, business impact analysis and business continuity assessments;

—   Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls;

—   Ensure that documented policies align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements;

—   Providing the authoritative technical subject matter expertise needed to mature SOC services;

—   Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize cybersecurity risks;

—   Participate in the process of forming thorough and easy-to-understand reports.

Requirements

—   Completed relevant Bachelor/ Master degree in IT and/or Cybersecurity fields;

—   Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience;

—   Working experience in a Security Operations Center environment;

—   Writing and speaking skill in Kazakh, Russian and English;

—   Advanced understanding of information security principles, controls, and technologies;

—   Basic understanding with IT General Controls and controls based audits (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model).

Preferred qualifications

—   Certifications: IBM Certified SOC Analyst - IBM QRadar, Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Technician, OSСА, EC-Council Certified SOC Analyst;

—   Expertise in implementing and managing SIEM;

—   Expertise in network security architecture concepts (including topology, protocols, components, and principles).
