Legal Associate 1/2

• Support senior lawyers in legal research, contract review, and document analysis.
• Assist in drafting legal opinions, contracts, legal reports, and client communications.
• Participate in projects, due diligence, and compliance checks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to laws and KPMG policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties (clients, authorities, translators) as needed.
• Follow confidentiality, independence, and professional standards in all tasks.

• Strong academic background in corporate, commercial, or civil law
• Bachelor’s degree in Law ; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or corporate legal department is preferred
• Solid understanding of contract law and legal documentation
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to review, draft, and summarize legal documents under supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an advantage
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong sense of confidentiality and professional ethics
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
