Review, prepare, and update contracts, agreements, and other legal documents;
Negotiate agreements with clients and suppliers;
Provide legal advice on various issues related to the company’s activities;
Interact with state authorities and professional organizations;
Ensure that documents comply with applicable legislation;
Handle claims and litigation matters;
Monitor and analyze legislation, draft opinions on complex legal issues, and assess proposed legal changes;
Work with various legal and regulatory databases.
Requirements
Degree in Law from a leading Kazakhstani university;
At least 3 – 5 years’ experience, preferable with an multinational company;
Excellent knowledge of KZ legislation: civil, business, private international law; administrative and court procedures, knowledge of international business law and AIFC laws is a plus;
Fluency in English and Russian (both written and oral), Kazakh – is preferable;
Understanding of Business ethics principles;
Ability to work with large information scope;
Good communication skills and attention to details;
Ability to switch quickly from one assignment to another, multitasking skills;
