Join KPMG CIO Advisory as an IT Infrastructure Consultant in Almaty or Astanaand play a vital role in shaping cloud strategies, optimizing IT operations, and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions.

As our IT Infrastructure Consultant, you will:

• Support the development and implementation of IT strategies and cloud architecture solutions.
• Assist in evaluating IT operations, processes, and system efficiency, contributing to recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct analyses to assess cloud migration strategies and support team members in evaluating the effectiveness of transitioning to cloud services.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data, prepare reports, and deliver insights for IT budgeting and cost optimization.
• Assist in designing and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions, leveraging knowledge of network protocols, storage systems, virtualization, and container technologies.

You’re the perfect match for this role if you:

• Have 3+ years of relevant work experience in cloud and IT infrastructure.
• Possess a strong understanding of cloud architecture solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with hybrid cloud principles.
• Have knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing, switching, and software-defined networking (SDN).
• Understand various storage systems (SAN, NAS, DAS, cloud storage) and tape or disk storage systems.
• Are proficient in operating systems such as Linux and Windows Server, virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Have knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, or Zachman.
• Have at least Intermediate level of English.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Cisco Certified Network Associate are advantageous.
