IT infrastructure & Cloud architect
Responsibilities
Provide IT consulting services to clients in the field of IT Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture, e.g., within Digital / IT strategy, architecture, system implementation/migration and / or Cloud strategy development projects, including:
o Lead IT infrastructure work stream within complex IT projects:
o IT infrastructure analysis, risk assessment and design, including detailed description of all relevant components (Data Centers, Network, Compute, Storage, Virtualization, OS, Containerization, Databases, Application hosting, etc.)
o Requirements to IT infrastructure derivation and definition (based on business strategy / requirements / goals / KPIs, target / transition enterprise and system architectures, etc.)
o Analysis and design of IT infrastructure operational model (service catalogue, processes, organizational design, staffing / sourcing, SLAs/OLAs/KPIs, IT4IT tools)
o Roadmap development, including time, resources and cost estimations
o Support Project Manager with IT infrastructure work stream management - scope of work definition, work planning, status reports, etc.
o Support Enterprise Architect with overall business goals and requirements decomposing to IT infrastructure requirements, building-in IT infrastructure plans and resource estimates into the overall architecture and / or operational model transformation plans and estimates
o Support development team leads / system architects / admins with configuration of IT infrastructure for product teams / system implementation teams based on on-premise infrastructure & solutions and / or cloud services (DevOps)
o Support Partners / Directors within business development as a key expert in IT Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture, including market research, service line definition and / or development, identification of leads and opportunities, development of proposals, etc.
Requirements
o Bachelor’s or Master’s / Specialist’s degree in technical sciences or Business / Economy with focus on IT field (or additional practice / courses / certificates);
o 5+ years of experience with at least 1 year of experience in a managerial / team leader role as a:
o IT consultant, specializing in IT infrastructure and cloud services
o IT infrastructure specialists in companies with heavy IT reliance, including banks, telecom and IT / cloud service providers
o Ability to work independently and to prepare deliverables and collaborate with client’s representatives with minimum input from supervising manager;
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian;
o Strong analytical / Problem solving skills;
o Passion for quality of personal contribution into project success;
