Intern/Executive, Fixed Assets

KPMG is seeking a motivated Intern/Executive to join our Fixed Assets Valuation team within Deal Advisory in Almaty or Astana. In this role, you will participate in valuation projects of tangible (fixed) assets, working closely with experienced professionals on a variety of advisory assignments for local and international clients. • Take part in different stages of advisory projects on tangible assets (fixed assets) valuations for various purposes;
• Deal with management and personnel of a client and a target company (also during site visits);
• Conduct industry research and market analysis;
• Prepare various types of tangible assets valuation models;
• Write and check reports;
• Prepare client deliverables, reports, proposals and other project-related documentation.

• Have higher education (completed or final year), preferably in Engineering, Civil Engineering, technical disciplines, or Finance / Economics
• Have knowledge of valuation methodologies and approaches to fixed assets valuation (a plus)
• Are fluent in English
• Are an advanced user of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Have strong analytical skills, including numeracy and ability to structure and analyze large datasets
• Have strong research, writing, and presentation skills
• Are a fast learner, proactive team player with good communication skills
• Have relevant certifications (an advantage)
