Responsibilities

  • Design and run small projects and / or large, complex workstreams with limited oversight
  • Support/Generate hypothesis and play a key role in storyboarding
  • Liaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMG
  • Produce client ready deliverables that exceed expectations and requires limited review
  • Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients
  • Construct detailed financial / business models performing complex scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Support the identification of on-sell / cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop rapport and solid working relationships with client counterparts and maintain them outside of engagements
  • Be a strong and effective team player
  • Provide timely feedback and coaching to other team members
  • Work flexibly across sectors and proposition

Requirements

  • Higher education, Finance / Economics / Math / Accounting
  • More than 5 years of experience in Finance filed (experience in Big 4 firms preferable)
  • Proven industry expertise in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Retail, Agriculture or other similar fields
  • Functional expertise in several areas like: Investment management, Treasury management, Budgeting and forecasting, Management reporting, BI / ERP / Integrated planning system implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language, knowledge of Azerbaijani or Russian is an advantage
  • ACCA, CFA, FMVA, CIMA, DipIFR, CTP and other recognized professional certification would be an advantage
  • Focused, disciplined, with good project management skills
  • Ability to display involvement in business development activity e.g. building relationships with client counterparties during engagements
  • Experience of contributing to thought leadership and knowledge management activities
  • Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Structured thinking skills combined with creativity
  • Ability to evaluate complex challenges and deliver insightful recommendations that can be practically executed
  • Strong numerical capabilities combined with sound commercial acumen
