We're currently seeking a Consultant (2-3) to join our Strategy & Operations team in Astana/Almaty, who is eager to expand their knowledge and expertise in the FS field. In this dynamic role, you’ll leverage your expertise to conduct market research, perform financial and economic analysis, and prepare strategic presentations and analytical reports, among many other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

As our Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct independent and advanced analyses of business processes and market data;
  • Deliver assigned project workstreams under supervision;
  • Develop analytical frameworks, assumptions, and recommendations for clients;
  • Manage and maintain project documentation and databases;
  • Support proposal development and pre-sale activities;
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver actionable insights and strategies;
  • Mentor junior team members and oversee small project components (for C3);
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with internal risk management procedures.

Requirements

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field;
  • Have 1–3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, analytics, or related areas - ideally within financial institutions, banks, development organizations (such as EBRD), or AIFC-related projects
  • Are proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Have hands-on experience with Power BI or other analytical tools;
  • Understand business processes, financial analysis, and operational performance;
  • Are familiar with management consulting methodologies and strategic frameworks;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on results;
  • Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and present confidently to clients;
  • Are fluent in English and the local language (Russian is an advantage);
  • Hold or are pursuing a professional certification such as ACCA, ITIL, CISA, or PMP.
