Who are we looking for
We are currently seeking a Consultant in Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) to join our team in Baku. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across internal audit, risk and control frameworks, and governance advisory while contributing to meaningful client work and internal initiatives.
You will be part of our GRCS team - a collaborative international and fast-paced group dedicated to helping clients strengthen their governance and control environments.
Responsibilities
As our Consultant in GRCS team you will:
• Conduct research and analyze diverse data to support project work and provide valuable insights.
• Participate in client engagements related to internal audit, risk management, internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance, as well as other relevant GRC areas.
• Assist in documenting current client processes and contribute to the development of improvement proposals under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• Build strong working relationships within the team and with clients.
• Support administrative processes, including documentation, contracts, and service protocols related to ongoing projects.
• Contribute to enhancing client practices by helping optimize internal policies and reporting frameworks.
Requirements
What we are looking for
Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (local or international) in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a Big 4 firm (preferably Consulting) or in an internal audit, risk, or governance-related role within business.
• Practical experience working on project teams or client engagements.
• Native/fluent in Azerbaijani, with advanced or fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of Russian is an advantage
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems logically.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and client-facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear and concise deliverables.
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of internal audit practices, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance principles.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally with feedback.
