CIO Advisory Consultant - Azerbaijan
KPMG CCA is seeking a Consultant to join the Technology Consulting team (CIO Advisory) in Azerbaijan. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects that shape clients’ digital and IT strategies, optimize business processes, and design effective technology solutions.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and optimize business processes considering strategy, data flows, systems, and IT architecture
• Contribute to Digital and IT Strategy, IT Architecture, and target operating model development
• Participate in ERP solution design, assessing client readiness and maturity levels
• Evaluate IT governance processes and propose improvements using COBIT, ITIL, and related frameworks
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients
• Conduct research, synthesize findings, and develop actionable recommendations
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Security
• 1–3 years of experience in IT audit, business/system analysis, or IT architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication in English and Azerbaijani (Russian is an advantage)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and corporate systems (CRM, ECM)
• Knowledge of IT and information security standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27000)
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and database concepts
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
• Certifications in IT or related areas are an advantage
